Simon Khodab - President

Simon is a Business Analyst/Agile Product Owner at Consortium Health Plans in Columbia, Maryland. With a background in Computer Science at Towson University, Simon switched from a technical focus to a business focus early on in his career. Simon has 7 years of professional experience spread between mobile gaming applications, Medicare prescription claims systems, and private healthcare insurance marketing and is constantly seeking to take on new challenges and learn new technologies.

Simon has been an active member of the IIBA Baltimore chapter since 2012 and has served as the chair of the membership committee. He is currently studying for his CBAP Certification for later in 2016.

Simon lives in the New Town area of Owings Mills and in his free time enjoys Netflix binge watching, as if it were an Olympic sport and he’s going for the gold.


Barbara Klein Harper - Vice President, Education

Barbara Klein Harper is a Senior Business Analyst at UPS Information Services in Timonium, MD. She is preparing for CBAP certification using the study group organized by the Baltimore IIBA chapter, the Watermark CBAP Study Guide, version 2 of the BABOK, and a variety of free resources such as the online ANKI flashcard app and old-fashioned paper flashcards. Barbara has the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). She has over twenty years of varied experience in business analysis, project management, training, and global software development and deployment. Barbara has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Computational Linguistics.

Barbara lives in the Otterbein neighborhood of Baltimore City with her husband Steven and daughter Catherine.


Jackie Hossler - Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Jackie offers more than 30 years of IT and telecommunications experience, concentrating on Business Analysis during the last 12 years.  Although she “grew-up” in the Finance Services industry, she currently works at Edaptive Systems as a Principal Business Analyst supporting Federal Government projects.  Jackie has an A.A. degree in Computer Information Systems, a Certificate in Data Processing Management, and is presently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies at University of Maryland University College.

An active member of the IIBA since 2007, she appreciates the opportunity to broaden her Business Analysis knowledge and network with colleagues.  When not at work or attending IIBA meetings, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding her bike, and skiing.


Jonathan Muse - Treasurer

Jonathan Muse is a Program Manager at Consortium Health Plans in Columbia. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in the software development process. Jonathan began his professional career as a software developer but quickly transitioned his focus into the business side of things. Jonathan is a certified Agile Product Owner and has a degree in IT from the University of Baltimore.

Jonathan is a new member to the IIBA Baltimore chapter and is looking forward to earning his CBAP later this year.

Jonathan lives in Westminster and spends his free time cleaning up and repairing the damage caused by his hoard of young children.


Bonnie Han Gebhart - Secretary

Bonnie is a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed young professional with aspirations to keep gaining experience in the field of Business Analysis. With a focus on streamlining operations and implementing strategic efficiencies, Bonnie is always working towards closing the gap between theories and implementation.

Currently, Bonnie is a Business and Operations Analyst with the IT & Prospect Strategy group, serving Development & Alumni Relations at Johns Hopkins University.

Bonnie received her B.S. in Operations Management and B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Maryland in 2011. She has been an active member of the IIBA Baltimore Chapter since 2013.

Bonnie currently lives in Baltimore. In her free time, Bonnie loves to practice yoga and complete DIY projects, but hasn't tried doing both at the same time (yet).
